Advertising on Heath Haussamen on New Mexico Politics is a great way to get your message out to a readership that consists largely of the politically active and educated – some of the hardest people to reach through traditional advertising methods. Several hundred people visit this site each day – many of them several times each day.

By advertising, you’ll be supporting a small, independent organization that is providing a needed forum absent from mainstream media in New Mexico.

You can choose the size of your advertisement from several options – those shown at the top and in the left and right columns on this page. You can include text and images in your advertisement, which will be built to your design specifications and approved by you before its run begins, or you can submit a ready-made advertisement at 72 dpi. Standard advertisements must be in JPEG format. Animated GIF advertisements are available at higher rates. Advertisements submitted as ready-made that are incorrectly sized will be resized to fit the space ordered.

If you have a Web site you want to promote, the advertisement can serve as a link to that site.

• 728x90 pixels: $450 for four weeks or $270 for two weeks

Animated ad:
• 728x90 pixels: $525 for four weeks or $315 for two weeks

• 240x130 pixels: $225 for four weeks or $135 for two weeks

Standard ad
• 468x60 pixels: $200 for four weeks or $120 for two weeks

Right and left columns:

• 200x60 pixels: $100 for four weeks or $65 for two weeks

Gross receipts tax will be added to your order at a rate of 7.375 percent. All advertising orders must be prepaid with cash or a check. Those who purchase advertising on both CrucesNews.com and Heath Haussamen on New Mexico Politics will receive a 10 percent discount on their entire order.

You can pay to have your advertisement run for a minimum of two weeks, and can increase the order in two-week increments at the two-week rate, or in four-week increments at the discounted four-week rate.

Please be advised that purchasing advertising on Heath Haussamen on New Mexico Politics gives you no control over editorial content. Like anyone else, you may raise concerns about the content of articles and comments, polls and other editorial items, and your concerns will be heard. I encourage potential advertisers to familiarize themselves with the editorial content of Heath Haussamen on New Mexico Politics prior to purchasing advertisements.

I will attempt to honor but cannot guarantee placement requests beyond those specified above. Rates are subject to change at any time, but changes will not apply to orders for which payment has already been made.

I reserve the right to refuse any advertisement found unsuitable for publication. If payment has already been made, it will be refunded.

If an advertiser who purchases an advertisement at the four-week rate opts to cancel after its run has begun, payment for that four-week cycle will not be refunded. Payment for the next four-week cycle will be refunded unless more than 21 days of the current four-week cycle have passed at the time of cancellation. With that exception, payment for future cycles will be refunded.

If an advertiser who purchases an advertisement at the two-week rate opts to cancel after its run has begun, payment for that two-week cycle will not be refunded. Payment for the next two-week cycle will be refunded unless more than seven days of the current two-week cycle have passed at the time of cancellation. With that exception, payment for future cycles will be refunded.

All cancellations must be requested in writing, and must be received by the above-described deadlines in order to obtain refunds. E-mail requests are sufficient.

By purchasing advertising, advertisers acknowledge that they have read these policies and agree that Heath Haussamen on New Mexico Politics and its owner will not be liable or responsible for any damage, injury or loss that results from interaction and transactions between advertisers and those who read or click through from advertisements on this Web site to advertisers’ Web sites.
